TOURNAMENT RESPONSIBILITIES
NMPL operates with a professionally structured league management system to ensure fairness, transparency, and high operational standards.
Player selection processes and standardized player contracts
Conducting franchise selection and player auctions
End-to-end marketing and promotion of the league
​Deployment of registered MCA coaches, umpires, and support staff
Ensuring the entire tournament operates under the purview of the MCA Anti-Corruption Unit, maintaining integrity and discipline across all matches

Our Journey So Far
Season 1-2023
The inaugural season of the Navi Mumbai Premier League marked the beginning of a structured, franchise-based T20 cricket ecosystem in Navi Mumbai. Designed as a grassroots development platform, Season 1 introduced area-based franchises, organised player participation, and professionally managed match operations. The season focused on establishing governance standards, competitive balance, and talent identification pathways under a recognised cricketing framework.Season 1 laid the cornerstone for NMPL’s vision of nurturing emerging talent and creating a sustainable local cricket league model with strong community engagement and institutional credibility.
